America Has Higher Rate of “Death from All Causes” than 16 Other Developed Nations

 Based on findings presented in a report titled U.S. Health in International Perspectives: Shorter Lives, Poorer Health, Americans have a higher chance of dying from all causes than people living in 16 other developed nations. Further, the United States ranked 2nd to last when focusing just on deaths from noncommunicable disease, which includes ailments like diabetes mellitus, endocrine disorders, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, and digestive diseases, to name a few.
America is Lagging Behind - as the Very Sick Nation
Despite spending more on healthcare than any other nation, America is being outranked by every other compared nation when it comes to health. The report shows how The U.S. ranks in the following four categories:
  • Deaths from All Causes U.S. is ranked last.
  • Deaths from Noncommunicable DiseaseU.S. is ranked 2nd to last.
  • Deaths from InjuriesU.S. is ranked 2nd to last.
  • Deaths from Communicable, Maternal, Perinatal, Nutritional ConditionsU.S. is ranked 4th to last. (One problem with this category is the inclusion of nutritional deficiencies; any nutritional deficiency can help lead to illness and diseases that help lead to death).

And this isn’t the first report to come up with these findings. In June, 2011, researchers from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) at the University of Washington and Imperial College London found that 80% of U.S. counties have dipped below the average life expectancy of the top 10 nations globally.
The authors wrote:
“When compared to the international frontier for life expectancy, US counties range from being 16 calendar years ahead to more than 50 behind for women. For men the range is from 15 calendar years ahead to more than 50 calendar years behind. This means that some counties have a life expectancy today that nations with the best health outcomes had in 1957.”
Additionally, a 2011 report  found that even while life expectancy of American’s is rising (even if that means being hooked up to a hospital bed for the last years of one’s life), the U.S. is still rank 50.
Why is the U.S. so behind on health? The chair of the panel that wrote the first report mentioned, Steven H. Woolf, a professor of family medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, said:
“We were struck by the gravity of these findings. Americans are dying and suffering at rates that we know are unnecessary because people in other high-income countries are living longer lives and enjoying better health. What concerns our panel is why, for decades, we have been slipping behind.”
While Woolf and others don’t seem to know why Americans are sick, the answers are a bit obvious to some of us.
Why Americans are so Sick and Die Sooner
The answer as to why Americans are so sick could easily fill up an entire book, but it really boils down to a few basic truths. Here are just a few things ruining the health of the nation.
**  Consuming Garbage Food, Not Healthful Foods and Beverages
How do some fruits and veggies sound? If you’re anything like the majority of Americans, you’ll choose a McDonald’s burger over an apple any day. Fast food, along with processed foods and prepackaged foods, make up a great deal of the average American’s diet. These foods are full of harmful and questionable ingredients that provide no real nutritional value. To make matters worse, the meat is often derived from injected animals fed antibiotics and genetically modified grain while the fruit are drenched in pesticides and are often genetically modified.
Additionally, the average person is consuming 300% more sugar daily than recommended. This over-consumption is fueling illness and diseases like gout, blood pressure, kidney damage, diabetes, inflammation-related issues, obesity, heart disease, and much more.
The facts are, 2/3 of Americans are overweight with 1/3 being obese, almost 1/10 have diabetes, and 79 million adults have prediabetes. Unfortunately, these figures aren’t improving.
** Exercising Very Little or Not at All
The statistics given above are fueled not only by a poor diet, but by inactivity as well. Actually, sitting too much in of itself has been shown to strike 92,00 individuals each year with avoidable cancer. An inactive lifestyle—not achieving 150 minutes of moderate exercise a week—is a major contributor to major diseases like heart disease, Type 2 diabetes, and breast and colon cancer. One study in The Lancet even goes on to say that physical activity is the fourth leading cause of death worldwide.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), about 31 percent of adults aged 15+ were inactive in 2008, with 28 percent of that figure being men and 34 percent being women. The WHO also states that inactivity is tied to 3.2 million deaths each year. However, if the link was more appropriately tied in with all illness and disease, that number would likely be much higher.
Being Exposed to an Incredible Amount of Health-Compromising Toxins
Toxins are everywhere, from within the air we breath to the water we drink. A study published in the British Journal of Cancer, conducted by the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Complutense University in Madrid, this study determined that Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and other cannabinoids inhibit tumour growth. They were responsible for the first clinical study aimed at assessing cannabinoid antitumoral action. Cannabinoid delivery was safe and was achieved with zero psychoactive effects. THC was found to decrease tumour cells in two out of the nine patients. 2. A study published in The Journal of Neuroscience examined the biochemical events in both acute neuronal damage and in slowly progressive, neurodegenerative diseases. They conducted a magnetic resonance imaging study that looked at THC (the main active compound in marijuana) and found that it reduced neuronal injury in rats. The results of this study provide evidence that the cannabinoid system can serve to protect the brain against neurodegeneration. 3. A study published in The Journal of Pharmacology And Experimental Therapeutics already acknowledged the fact that cannabinoids have been shown to possess antitumor properties. This study examined the effect of cannabidiol (CBD, non psychoactive cannabinoid compound) on human glioma cell lines. The addition of cannabidiol led to a dramatic drop in the viability of glioma cells. Glioma is the word used to describe brain tumour. The study concluded that cannabidiol was able to produce a significant antitumor activity. 4. A study published in the journal Molecular Cancer Therapeutics outlines how brain tumours are highly resistant to current anticancer treatments, which makes it crucial to find new therapeutic strategies aimed at improving the poor prognosis of patients suffering from this disease. This study also demonstrated the reversal of tumour activity in Glioblastoma multiforme. Breast Cancer 5. A study published in the US National Library of Medicine, conducted by the California Pacific Medical Centre determined that cannabidiol (CBD) inhibits human breast cancer cell proliferation and invasion. They also demonstrated that CBD significantly reduces tumour mass. 6. A study published in The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics determined that THC as well as cannabidiol dramatically reduced breast cancer cell growth. They confirmed the potency and effectiveness of these compounds. 7. A study published in the Journal Molecular Cancer showed that THC reduced tumour growth and tumour numbers. They determined that cannabinoids inhibit cancer cell proliferation, induce cancer cell apoptosis and impair tumour angiogenesis (all good things). This study provides strong evidence for the use of cannabinoid based therapies for the management of breast cancer. 8. A study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America (PNAS) determined that cannabinoids inhibit human breast cancer cell proliferation. Lung Cancer 9. A study published in the journal Oncogene, by Harvard Medical Schools Experimental Medicine Department determined that THC inhibits epithelial growth factor induced lung cancer cell migration and more. They go on to state that THC should be explored as novel therapeutic molecules in controlling the growth and metastasis of certain lung cancers. 10. A study published by the US National Library of Medicine by the Institute of Toxicology and Pharmacology, from the Department of General Surgery in Germany determined that cannabinoids inhibit cancer cell invasion. Effects were confirmed in primary tumor cells from a lung cancer patient. Overall, data indicated that cannabinoids decrease cancer cell invasiveness. 11. A study published by the US National Library of Medicine, conducted by Harvard Medical School investigated the role of cannabinoid receptors in lung cancer cells. They determined its effectiveness and suggested that it should be used for treatment against lung cancer cells. Prostate Cancer 12. A study published in the US National Library of Medicine illustrates a decrease in prostatic cancer cells by acting through cannabinoid receptors. 13. A study published in the US National Library of Medicine outlined multiple studies proving the effectiveness of cannabis on prostate cancer. 14. Another study published by the US National Library of Medicine determined that clinical testing of CBD against prostate carcinoma is a must. That cannabinoid receptor activation induces prostate carcinoma cell apoptosis. They determined that cannabidiol significantly inhibited cell viability. Blood Cancer 15. A study published in the journal Molecular Pharmacology recently showed that cannabinoids induce growth inhibition and apoptosis in matle cell lymphoma. The study was supported by grants from the Swedish Cancer Society, The Swedish Research Council and the Cancer Society in Stockholm. 16. A study published in the International Journal of Cancer also determined and illustrated that cannabinoids exert antiproliferative and proapoptotic effects in various types of cancer and in mantle cell lymphoma. 17. A study published in the US National Library of Medicine conducted by the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology by Virginia Commonwealth University determined that cannabinoids induce apoptosis in leukemia cells. Oral Cancer 18. A study published by the US National Library of Medicine results show cannabinoids are potent inhibitors of cellular respiration and are toxic to highly malignant oral Tumours. Liver Cancer 19. A study published by the US National Library of Medicine determined that that THC reduces the viability of human HCC cell lines (Human hepatocellular liver carcinoma cell line) and reduced the growth. Pancreatic Cancer 20. A study published in The American Journal of Cancer determined that cannabinoid receptors are expressed in human pancreatic tumor cell lines and tumour biopsies at much higher levels than in normal pancreatic tissue. So, let’s put on our history caps and go all the way back over 100 years to the turn of the 20th century. When Dr. George H. Simmons began in 1899 what became a 25 year reign as head of the American Medical Association (AMA), it was a weak organization with little money and little respect from the general public. The advertising revenue from its medical journal, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), was a paltry $34,000 per year. The AMA realized that competition was causing physicians’ incomes to dwindle, as the number of medical schools had increased from around 90 (in 1880) to over 150 (in 1903). Chiropractic had just been introduced into the mainstream, homeopathy was thriving, herbalists were flourishing, all the while regular doctors were unable to profit from their medical practices. -------------------------------------- With the state governments reluctant to create laws restricting the various healing arts, Simmons hired Joseph McCormack (the secretary of the Kentucky State Board of health) to “rouse the profession to lobby.” With McCormack leading the charge, the AMA began to bolster their ranks, preaching ethics (like not competing with other physicians or publishing your prices) and decrying “quackery” (anything that competed with regular medicine). Simmons was shrewd enough to have the AMA establish a Council on Medical Education in 1904. This council’s stated mission was to “upgrade medical education” – a noble goal. However, the Council on Medical Education had actually devised a plan to rank medical schools throughout the country, but their guidelines were dubious, to say the least. For instance, just having the word “homeopathic” in the name of a medical school reduced their ranking because the AMA asserted that such schools taught “an exclusive dogma.” However, by 1910, the AMA was out of money and didn’t have the funds to complete the project. The Rockefellers had joined forces with the Carnegie foundation to create an education fund, and they were approached by N. P. Colwell (secretary of the Council on Medical Education) to finish the job they had started, but could no longer fund. Rockefeller and Carnegie agreed. Simon Flexner, who was on the Board of Directors for the Rockefeller Institute, proposed that his brother, Abraham, who knew nothing about medicine, be hired for the project. Although their names are not very well known, the Flexner brothers have probably influenced the lives of more people and in a more profound way than any other brothers in the last century, with the possible exception of Wilbur and Orville Wright. ------------------------ Abraham Flexner was on the staff of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. The Rockefellers and Carnegies had traditionally worked together in the furtherance of their mutual goals, and this certainly was no exception. The Flexner brothers represented the lens that brought both the Rockefeller and the Carnegie fortunes into sharp focus on the medical profession. Their plan was to “restructure” the AMA and “certify” medical schools based solely upon Abraham Flexner’s recommendations. The AMA’s head of the Council on Medical Education traveled with Flexner as they evaluated medical schools. Eventually, Flexner submitted a report to The Carnegie Foundation entitled “Medical Education in the United States and Canada,” which is also known as the “Flexner report.” Not surprisingly, the gist of the report was that it was far too easy to start a medical school and that most medical schools were not teaching “sound medicine.” The medical sociologist Paul Starr wrote in his Pulitzer Prize-winning book (The Social Transformation of American Medicine): “The AMA Council became a national accrediting agency for medical schools, as an increasing number of states adopted its judgments of unacceptable institutions.” Further, he noted: “Even though no legislative body ever set up … the AMA Council on Medical Education, their decisions came to have the force of law.” With the AMA grading the various medical colleges, it became predictable that the homeopathic colleges, even the large and respected ones, would eventually be forced to stop teaching homeopathy or die. And that’s exactly what happened. ------------------------
Published in 1910, the Flexner report (quite correctly) pointed out the inadequacies of medical education at the time. No one could take exception with that. It also proposed a wide range of sweeping changes, most of which were entirely sound. No one could take exception with those, either. However, Flexner’s recommendations emphatically included the strengthening of courses in pharmacology and the addition of research departments at all “qualified” medical schools. It is what followed in the wake of the Flexner report that reveals its true purpose in the total plan. With public backing secured by the publication of the Flexner report, Carnegie and Rockefeller commenced a major upgrade in medical education by financing only those medical schools that taught what they wanted taught. In other words, they began to immediately shower hundreds of millions of dollars on those medical schools that were teaching “drug intensive” medicine. Predictably, those schools that had the financing churned out the better doctors. In return for the financing, the schools were required to continue teaching course material that was exclusively drug oriented, with no emphasis put on natural medicine. The end result of the Flexner report was that all accredited medical schools became heavily oriented toward drugs and drug research. In 1913, Simmons and the AMA went on the offensive even more strongly by their establishment of the “Propaganda Department,” which was dedicated to attacking any and all unconventional medical treatments and anyone (MD or not) who practiced them. The purpose was to dominate the oil and chemical (pharmaceutical) markets, and the Flexner report gave both of these tycoons the “ammunition” they needed to achieve that goal. In the end, the Rockefeller/Carnegie plan was a smashing success. Those medical schools that did not conform were denied the funds and the prestige that came with those funds, and were forced out of business.
By 1925, over 10,000 herbalists were out of business. By 1940, 1500 chiropractors would be prosecuted for practicing “quackery.” The 22 homeopathic medical schools that flourished in 1900 dwindled to just 2 in 1923. By 1950, all schools teaching homeopathy were closed. In the end, if a physician did not graduate from a Flexner approved medical school, he couldn’t find a job. This is why today our doctors are so heavily biased toward synthetic drug therapy and know little about nutrition. Please understand that it is currently standard practice in the USA to simply dismiss any piece of information that punches a hole in any widely accepted explanation of a disturbing event by tagging the new explanation as a “conspiracy theory.” It’s time to put an end to this name-calling nonsense once and for all. It is absolutely accurate to say that conspiracies exist all around us every day of our lives and in all walks of life.
As a matter of fact, conspiracies are a very common part of life. Children conspire to play jokes on their friends, football teams conspire (in the huddle) to outmaneuver their opponents; the rich conspire with one another to get richer; governments conspire about virtually everything. As a matter of fact every single person who has ever been convicted of a crime by a jury is the subject of a conspiracy theory; only in these cases a jury has accepted the theory as truth after seeing the evidence. The fact is that any time two or more people are involved in setting private plans to do anything, you have a conspiracy. And as research has revealed, the Flexner report of 1910 was the beginning of a conspiracy to limit and eventually eliminate competition from non-pharmaceutical, non-patentable treatments for disease. During the infamous Spanish flu epidemic of 1918-19, it has been estimated that 25 to 50 million people died worldwide. In the USA alone, 550,000 people died, which was approximately 10% of the people afflicted with the flu. Homeopathic physicians documented then more than 62,000 patients treated with homeopathy resulting in a mortality of 0.7%. For people who were sick enough to be hospitalized, conventional medicine had a mortality of 30% while with 27,000 documented hospitalized cases, homeopathy was reporting a mortality of 1.05% (Journal of the American Institute of Homeopathy 1921; 13:1028-43). So, in light of the fact that the homeopathic success rate was many fold higher than the allopathic success rate, it is crystal clear that there must have been ulterior motives for closing the homeopathic hospitals, which were actually far superior than the allopathic hospitals in the treatment of the Spanish flu. This is the “icing” on the conspiracy cake.

All life on earth maitains an ideal and balanced pH level which best suits its perpetuation. Human beings are no different. As ocean pHs have dropped by just fractions from around 8.2 to 8.1 due to increased CO2 deposits, coral reefs have started to die off at an alarming rate. The ideal range for pH in swimming pool water is 7.0 - 7.6 . The pH of our eyes is typically 7.2 - 7.4 . In our experience, if the pH is kept at the same level as that in our eyes, the side-effects of burning red eyes is kept to a minimum. The ability of chlorine to disinfect at this level is also optimum. Even the soil we plant our food in has an ideal pH level in order to make sure it grows with the ideal mix of minerals and nutrients like calcium, magnesium, zinc, manganese, and copper. When the soil is out of balance, the plants tend to grow withered and small, and some even die out completely. Again, humans are no different.
The Health Power of Being Alkaline The human must maintain its own perfect pH level in order for its systems to function properly, and this includes keeping rogue cells from becoming metastatic disease, translating into cancerous tumors in multiple organs. Our ancestors didn’t eat in a way that upset this delicate balance in our bodies. Pre-agricultural societies had a naturally alkaline diet. Today most people (Americans) consume a diet that is poor in important minerals like potassium and magnesium and is full of saturated fats, simple sugars, sodium, and chloride. According to recent studies, this may induce cancer by creating metabolic acids that are asynchronous to our genetically determined nutritional requirements. The human body and all its tissues are most optimum at around 7.2 pH. Otherwise, acidosis, a condition wherein the body becomes overly acidic, ensues. Many studies have shown that acute acidosis causes bacteria, yeast, pleomorphic virus, and fungus to take over and spark degenerative diseases like, diabetes, cancer, aids, arteriosclerosis, chronic fatigue, and more. For the sake of simplicity I will seek to be brief. TOO many un-natural chemicals overwork our immune systems including in packaged/fast foods, GMO's, radiation leaks, fluoridated water, oil spills, and contaminated air and water due to fracking and mining. As research since the early 1900s suggests, our bodies simply cannot handle the level of toxicity in our environment without some serious help, though it was originally designed to cure itself from every conceivable toxin – from heavy metals to the common cold. We have simply burdened the Immune mechanism so profoundly, that the intelligence of the human form is being strained to its devastating overload. We either learn to adapt to the toxic environment that our governments so blatantly support, or we will continue to get sick & die. We can’t wait for politicians/congress or the senate to do the right thing. It’s time to get radical. It’s time to tell your friends, eat organic, filter water, exercise, lots of deep breathing, get alkaline, eat some raw foods etc. For some time we have been able to simply ignore, or turn an apathetic ear toward warnings about our food, air and soil being polluted, but when the EPA and FDA, arguably puppet institutions meant to placate farmers and citizens into thinking that their concerns over our war-time and consumer-based lifestyles are benign, states that yes, pesticides ‘are harmful to human health,’ then it's time to pay attention. That kind of confession is like telling us the sky is blue. If they didn’t at least state the painfully obvious, it would be very difficult to maintain even a modicum of respect in social and political circles. Most people consider the FDA, USDA and; most Government agencies a MAJOR embarrassment ! Our Blood and Bones NOW Contain Over 85,000 Different Toxins We are a toxic world. Our blood and bones now contain over 85,000 different chemical pollutants. Depleted uranium from bombs, and nuclear energy sites like Fukushima, as well as chemicals as sinister as Agent Orange and toxic mold are now part of our genetic makeup. There are too many other toxins to name here. Their names and devastating health effects could fill books. These toxins have seeped into our cells, causing cancer, depression and too many other health issues. These pollutants are making our children less intelligent and slowly breaking down our immune systems until they can’t even fight a simple virus. Our hormonal systems are so out of whack from these toxins that both boys and girls are starting puberty way too soon, and fetuses are not developing properly. ADHD, ADD, and Autism are on the rise like never before. Our bodies are fat and tired too, because a toxic overworked body can’t metabolize fats and proteins properly. Channels of Toxic Elimination Under better conditions our bodies can get rid of toxins through numerous natural channels: • Hair • Finger and Toe Nails • Skin • Bowels • Sweat • Blood • Bile • Urine In lab tests, extremely high levels of toxins can be found in a single strand of hair, even in people who think they live a ‘healthy’ lifestyle – they workout, don’t smoke, try to eat their vegetables, etc. Hair is actually one of the most telling when testing toxicity levels. It even contains remnants of LSD and cocaine in people who used drugs more than six months prior to testing. It also shows traces of aluminum, mercury, bismuth, lead, arsenic, tin, titanium, silver, asbestos, chlorine, tar, uranium and antimony, just to name a few toxins. If any of the channels of toxin elimination are compromised, it can make the body very ill and eventually cause it to die. Our liver works diligently to eliminate toxins through bile production. Our skin, one of the largest detoxifying channels, is constantly shedding skin cells to rid itself of poison. Our bowels and digestive organs including the bladder and kidneys, large and small intestines also work very hard at keeping us toxin free. The lymph system keeps T-lymphocyte cells circulating to help kill foreign invaders like viruses that come from mold exposure. Recycling of Toxins Leads to Disease The problem is that once the body tries to get rid of a toxin, repeatedly trying to make it water soluble, for example, (though this is just one way of eradicating a toxic poison from our systems) so that it can be excreted, then it starts to recycle that toxin in an effort to find some channel, any channel that can expel it properly. This is how disease starts to happen. Many scientists including a Russian scientists and naturopath named Eli Metchnik did extensive research on this phenomenon way back in 1904. Dr. Otto Warburg (Nobel Prize winner 1931) discovered the Cause (therefore the CURE of Cancer) as an ACIDIC Cell environment ! ALL Healing, Curing and the causes of illnesses is IGNORED by the American Medical Assoc. (AMA) to maximize revenues for the medial system in USA, the sickest country in the world after spending more for So Called healthcare that ANY other country - per capita- in the world. A disgusting reality ! In Ayurvedic medicine this is called the ‘multiply and localize’ stages of disease development. A toxin starts to move through blood plasma, and into the reproductive cycle of cells and tissues, so wherever you are weakest in your body, you are likely to develop disease. A disease is ‘born’ in the physical body when genetic predispositions for disease give way to environmental stress – i.e. toxicity. What Can I do to Detoxify My Body? Fortunately, there are inexpensive ways to start to cleanse the bowels, hair, skin, lungs, liver, kidneys, and even the cells, but it starts with realizing we are toxic. Then we must take action. • Install a good quality water filter Brita, HEPA , etc. You can also spend time exercising in nature, since trees and flowers act as natural air purifiers. • Start by throwing out all the toxic cleaners we use to spruce up our homes. Turn to vinegar, baking soda and citrus, particularly lemon juice, and sunlight. These four items can clean our houses (and sometimes us) from top to bottom without causing depression, hormone disruption, cancer, and a host of other diseases caused by the carcinogenic and toxic substances in household cleaners, like diethanolamine (DEA) and triethanolamine (TEA) just to start. • Sweat. Indian sweat lodges aren’t just for inducing a vision quest. While many people attain spiritual insights from participating in a sweat lodge, they also help to clear the mind and body of toxins, so we naturally become more lucid. You can walk 30+ minutes a day fast to cause some sweating. • Study Macrobiotic Diets. Most of us don’t want to alter our eating habits, but just taking some time to become aware of healthy eating to allow the body to purge toxins stored in fatty tissue can make a world of difference. Some fasting has also been practiced by different cultures and religions around the world for centuries as an effective way to detoxify. Nutritional eating habits is the most important method of attaining a healthy body • Drink more water, but only if its purified. Many toxins are water soluble, so if you drink clean, purified water, you can help to remove them. Just make sure you aren’t drinking unpurified municipal water, it is often full of hundreds of toxins. • Bathe in hot then cold water. Bathing in the ocean was practiced by the Kumu Hula (master teachers) as a means of purification, but not everyone has ocean front property, so bathing is a great purification ritual. It is also practiced all over Japan, Turkey, India, Africa, and Australia, just to name a few countries with bathing purification traditions or rituals. Bathing in first hot water, expands the blood vessels, and helps the ‘brown’ fat cells work more efficiently to reduce fat and toxins from the body. The cold water allows multiple dips, and also allows us to remain in the hot water longer. If you live near a hot springs or untainted, natural underground water source, many of these pools have excellent nutrients in them, which help to draw toxins out of the body. Also, just warming the body improves the lymph system and immune function. • Eat Detoxifying Foods. You can detoxify with green tea, coffee enemas, and cilantro even. Turmeric is great for detoxifying the body, as is sour sop fruit. Apple Cider Vinegar is wonderful and so is lemon juice and ginger. • Some use Shaolin Clay to Draw Impurities From the Skin. Shaolin Monks used a special clay to help draw impurities from their bodies and to heal more rapidly from injuries received practicing martial arts. It was made into a paste with several herbs and placed on the skin, or ground into powders and taken with herbs (like Dan Gui, Nan Xing, Bai Zhu, etc.) as an oral herbal treatment. Clay baths are especially effective at removing heavy metals and mercury or lead. • Take Milk Thistle, or Dandelion Root to Detox the Liver. This important organ removes toxins from our blood stream. These two herbs can greatly help the liver process toxins before they ever reach the bloodstream, so that they can be purged from the body via the feces or urine. • Increase Your Vitamin C. Several studies pointed to a simple Vitamin C supplement in higher doses (which are safe since Vitamin C is water soluble) as a very effective means of detoxing from Nuclear Fallout. • Some even Consider Aboriginal Kanwa Minerals are extracted from bubbling pools deep in the desert areas of Australia that are full of hundreds of trace minerals that can help detox the body. Health Benefits of Sprouts: What Does the Research Say?

Much of the research related to sprouts has focused on broccoli sprouts. Though these are far from the only healthy sprout, they do seem to offer exceptional health benefits. Here is a summary of what research has uncovered about a variety of sprouts:

  • Broccoli sprouts fight cancer and stomach ulcers. Japanese researchers found that a diet rich in broccoli sprouts significantly reduced H. pylori infection among a group of 20 people. H. pylori is known to cause gastritis, peptic ulcers and possibly stomach cancer.

  • Broccoli sprout extract protects against skin cancer. When researchers from Johns Hopkins University applied the extract to the skin of hairless mice, it counteracted the carcinogenic effect of ultraviolet light exposure.
